Melinda Messenger Career highlights

• Jobs before modelling included six months as a stewardess for Britannia Airlines, working as an office manager immediately before fame struck.
• Melinda had a £3,000 breast enhancement operation in Autumn 1996, increasing her bra size from a C to a DD cup.
• Modelled for an poster campaign for England's double glazing firm Glevum Windows. Posters featuring Melinda in bra and pants with the slogan 'Class Behind Glass' started being taken from bus shelters around Wiltshire and surrounding counties. Later, after complaints, the posters were banned by the Advertising Standards Authority for being too raunchy.
• The disappearing posters story was featured in local press and picked up by The Daily Star, who booked Melinda for a photo session and ran the results on their centre pages on Tuesday 28 January 1997 with the headline 'Move Over, Eva Herzigova'
